Addicted to Chick films #1. Little Black Book

I'm addicted to 'Chick films'. What's a Chick film? It's notoriously the kind of film with plots that in my real life, I should without a doubt find irritating, stupid, girlish... etc.
But on screen... everything is allowed!

A friend of mine calls them 'Blonde films' but that doesn't really matter. This year, I decided to see as many Chick films as I can. I also decided... to draw up a list. Let's go!

[Little Black Book]

Answer: she doesn't.
Brittany Murphy as Stacy in Little Black Book

Little Black Book by Nick Hurran (USA, 2004)
Cast: Brittany Murphy, Holly Hunter, Kathy Bates, Ron Livingston, Julianne Nicholson, Kevin Sussman
Pros: Carly Simon's music, Holly Hunter is terrific as usual, Bob the dog is lovable
Cons: Carly Simon's cameo, Brittany Murphy is obviously anorexic, the male character is embarrassing
