Stories only happen to people who can tell them.
Stories only happen to people who can tell them.
Allan Gurganus
The main blogging trend of the last five-six years has been to manage and run a monothematic blog, or a lot of different blogs at the same, time, each of them specialized about one topic or a niche.
You could then ask me (or just yourself, if you happen to be very shy) why A Lot Like Purple is not following that shiny and sexy trend at all.
The answer is very simple.
A monothematic blog is something that can be very interesting, stimulating and inspiring for plenty of people, but is just not my cup of tea.
I'm a real person and not a trendsetter and I prefer to write the kind of blog that reflects who I am and what matters to me. So I would describe A Lot Like Purple like a blog about life, people, quotes and movies... and Purpleness, of course.
[How about having a cup of tea with me?]
I like not to know what is going to happen in my life tomorrow, which people I am going to meet, what I am going to write about, what I am going to think and feel. I don't know yet what it could be useful or funny or wonderful for me tomorrow. I will discover that... only tomorrow.
Feel free to discover that with me, by passing by and having a look at the blog, even if it's not a monothematic one. You are most welcome and I am happy that you are here.
Here you can find a quick Purple guided tour around the blog, perfect if you are looking for your first cup of tea. Or your second one.
