From clean eating recipes to green smoothies, from ketogenic diet to stuffed panini, gluten-free friendly places to try out in Berlin

Are you feeling like having a piece of cake and yet you want to try out gluten-free desserts?
In Berlin for a weekend and curious about special places normal tourists usually didn't visit?
How about something healthy and delicious and a little bit bigger than life?

[When millennial pink is not only a stunning color,
but also something super-tasty to try out:
(no bake, sugar free, low carb, gluten-free)

As promised here, a short and sweet list of gluten-free friendly places to try out (and to fall in love with) in Berlin:

Bowls and clean eating
Warschauer Str. 33, 10243 Berlin
Located in Friedrichshain near the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn stations, in the same building where you can find vegan supermarket Veganz and vegan shoes store Avesu, offers a fresh and seasonal menu dedicated to clean eating, with lots of vegan and gluten-free options.

Smoothies, raw-food cakes, and more
Healthy living cafeteria chain with many stores in Berlin, that offers yummy shakes and green smoothies, a good selection of vegan and raw-food cakes, bowls, salads, and many gluten-free options.

The gluten-free restaurant
Hope Superfood Deli
Akazienstraße 28, 10823 Berlin
Inaugurated in Schöneberg exactly one year ago, in October 2016, offers salads, smoothies, bowls and other yummy recipes that follow the clean eating principles.
On top of it, everything is gluten-free. Is this the paradise for people that don't believe in paradise after death?

50 shades of hummus
Hummus & Friends NEW
Oranienburger Str. 27, 10117 Berlin
Vegetarian-friendly Israeli restaurant with a great selection of hummus recipes and lots of gluten-free and vegan options. Top-notch service and an elegant, shabby chic atmosphere make this place a great choice for a pleasant night out with good friends or a first date.

Bread, cookies, and sweets

Healthy food with organic ingredients only
Bio-Bistro, LPG Biomarkt NEW
Kollwitzstraße 17, 10405 Berlin
Inside the LPG Biomarkt located near Senefelderplatz in Prenzlauer Berg, a bio bistro offers healthy options for the lunch break, from Monday to Saturday, between noon and 3 PM.
The menu changes every day and it offers recipes prepared with fresh seasonal organic ingredients only. The staff is friendly and well informed about the vegan and gluten-free options are available every day.

Vegan and vegetarian food & Glück
Sonntagstraße 26, 10245 Berlin
Vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Friedrichshain, where previously was located the vegan and vegetarian restaurant Laauma, offers seasonal vegan cuisine, salads, and raw food recipes. Gluten-free options with raw-bread are available.

Low carb and ketogenic diet
Invalidenstraße 154, 10115 Berlin
Cozy cafè located in Mitte, specialized in low carb and ketogenic diet, with fresh smoothies, delicious cakes, and gluten-free options.

Falafel Rawdy, Superfran Salad, and other surprises
Prenzlauer Allee 176, 10409 Berlin
Lovely vegan restaurant located in Prenzlauer Berg since 2015, that offers yummy smoothies, cakes and cupcakes, salads and many gluten-free options. Definitely worth a try.

Crêpes and French galettes
Pappelallee 15, 10437 Berlin
Elegant small cafè with a French flair, authentic crêpes and gluten-free options. Again, Prenzlauer Berg is your Bezirk, for this one.

PS. In the past, I heard great things about Feinkost Fraktion, located in the Stargarder Str. 29 (10437 Berlin). Apparently, they are now closed and they switched to Mad Monkey Room but I have not been able to find precise information about this. If you know something on this topic, feel free to drop me a line or to leave a comment.
