Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #218. - Just like in a fairy tale

"That's a dream!", we may say when something really cool happens.
Interestingly enough, we would not say "That's a fairy tale!", even if most of us don't remember their dreams and fairy tales are the stories we grew up with, it doesn't matter whether from books, animation movies, or kids songs.

Fairy tales, fables, and myths represented for centuries the "crash course" our ancestors have been given in understanding the world, getting to know the Zeitgeist and the values and beliefs acknowledged at the time, discovering in a playful and often scary way what's right, and what's wrong.

[Even if it looks like a very silly question, it isn't.
So don't be surprised if finding an answer
should be more difficult than expected...]

Political correctness and Disney movies aside not much has changed and dragons, princesses, sorcerers, talking animals, and enchanted lands are fascinating to us just like they were generations ago.
The fairy tales we grew up with, the ones we learned to love through movies and TV series really affected what we think, what we see, what we desire, even if we often underestimate it.

Rediscovering which fairy tales we appreciate and why can be a thrilling and touching journey backward that will bring us forward in unexpected ways.

Coaching question of the day:
"What's your favorite fairy tale and why?"
