Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #273. - Your previous Achilles' heel

The interesting part about every Achilles' heel is that it doesn't make any difference, at first, whether an Achilles' heel is real or just perceived as such.
What we consider to be our biggest weakness is indeed our biggest weakness until we learn to see it in another way, to either embrace it, make the most out of it, or simply outgrow it.

Even if many people tend to think that an Achilles' heel is something for life, more often than not looking at it through a new perspective will lead to a dramatic (and positive) change.

[Achilles' heels are not like diamonds:
They are definitely not forever]

As soon as we realize that we can do something about it, we are in control, and we can play with it.

Suddenly, our previous Achilles' heel is just that sweet reminder of our resilience, our adaptability, our ability to grow.
That's the reason why today's question is about the past: While realizing that we have been there before with another Achilles' heel and that, now, that scary "problem" is just a thing of the past, we can learn to look at our present one with new eyes.

Coaching question of the day:
"In the past, what was your Achilles' heel?"
