Collecting "Le petit Prince" - The books, dialects, and languages that are not part of my collection yet (I-Z)

This week I have already published the first part of the list of books/languages that are not part of my collection (yet), including the missing languages from A to H.
As I promised, here we are with the second part of the list (missing languages I-Z)!
The second part of the list is huge: around 85 missing languages! (They were actually more than 90 only some months ago...)

This means that if you want to buy a present for me, it's very easy to make me happy, don't you think? (I am kidding, of course... Well, sort of kind of)

I am a hopeless optimist and I am sure that my collection will grow and grow over the years.
Have a nice weekend!

Collecting "Le petit Prince" - The books, dialects, and languages that are not part of my collection yet (A-H)

As you may know, some weeks ago I have published the list of books that are already part of my collection of "Le petit Prince": they were 44 languages in it then (now they are more than 70!).

In the same post, I have promised to publish the list of books/languages that are not part of my collection (yet).
Since the list is - unfortunately - very big, I have decided to split it into two parts. Today, I'm publishing the first part of the list (missing languages A-H).

On Saturday I will publish the second part of the list (missing languages I-Z), at last!
Stay tuned!

What does it mean to love someone? Orson Welles was used to saying...

What does it mean to love someone?

Does it mean to be fond of someone? To help someone? To stand by someone in hard times? To desire someone? To need someone? To let someone in peace even if we don't feel like it?

Does it mean to wish someone the best for them, even if we have to sacrifice ourselves in the process? To share your opinion with them as a disinterested party? Or just to embrace someone as they are, without trying to change what we don't like about them?

Often we are not really in love with someone.

Just one question to think about during the weekend to be happier

[Charlie Chaplin and Virginia Cherrill
in City Lights (1931) by Charlie Chaplin]

I thought about today's post the whole week. I prepared at least three different versions of it, about three different topics. I thought about it while being in the shower, going to work and choosing the right picture.
And yet I changed my mind tonight. And so today I only have one question for you. Only one question, but a very important one.

Ready?

What are you doing right now - and I mean right now - in order to be happy?

Think about it during this weekend. And let me know in the comments, if you feel so.
Have a nice weekend.

Funny merchandising for Jane Austen fans: Jane Austen bandages and beautiful stamps

You may or may not know that I really admire Jane Austen and her work. And that I consider her one of the best English writers of the last centuries, even if other writers (including the otherwise awesome Mark Twain) and a lot of literary critics were not always that crazy about her.

[Classy parody of Jane Austen
as modern and a little bit pompous Hollywood screenwriter]

And yet Jane Austen is still absolutely popular and well-known, her persona reached the status of a pop culture icon (with new deductions about Miss Austen being murdered with arsenic, no more and no less) and her works keep providing the perfect materials for movies, plays, television adaptations, comics and graphic novels, re-writings with zombies or XXX sexual fantasies and... knitting sets as well.

This could not be enough for very die-hard fans of the British author, who can not find cookies, puzzles, jewelry and other stuff interesting any longer. What about a package of colorful Jane Austen bandages then?
