We may or may not trust it. We may or may not believe in it... And yet most of us still have at least a vague idea and an opinion about it.
Intuition can have many names and be located a little bit everywhere (our heart, our guts, a voice from within, our sixth sense, and so on...).
In any case, the common belief is that intuition is somehow another way to perceive the reality around us and to give it meaning, a way more related to emotions, feelings, and impressions than logical reasoning or critical thinking.
If we should go for this definition, it would be quite revealing and compelling to ask ourselves when we consider following our intuition to be a good idea.
Under which circumstances? In what kind of scenario? Only in our private life, or in our career as well?
For big decisions or exclusively when we are dealing with tiny daily events? What if other people are involved?
Interestingly enough, some of us may have rules for today's question, and some of us may have never thought this through.
It's never too late, though: It's never too late for exploring the matter, confirming our standpoint, changing our mind, deciding to follow our intuition more (or less) often, creating some rules, or breaking some.
Whatever the answer, knowing it makes it easier to see intuition for what it could be: A precious tool, and a tool we can be curious about.
