More often than not, and actually way too often, the word "legacy" can feel and sound intimidating.
As if we would be afraid of being considered arrogant while thinking that we can, indeed, leave a legacy behind thanks to our life choices and our actions.
And yet, it doesn't matter whether we are going to do it in a purposeful or not so purposeful way, we are all going to leave behind a legacy of some kind:

Not only our financial and tangible assets or that gorgeous vintage piece that would improve any outfit, but also our words, the opportunities we create for ourselves and for others, the big and tiny ways we contribute to shaping the life of the people around us, the memories, the quirky habits, the books we suggested someone else...
Everything we do (and also plenty of what we will not do) will create a legacy, so wouldn't it be better to be conscious of it and to think about which kind of lasting legacy we hope to leave, and how we can work towards it?
Living our life while keeping in mind every day the type of legacy we aim to leave behind and working backwards from it is what meaningful life goals are made of, after all.
