While thinking about our day or even while describing for someone else how our day has been, probably not that many of us would use the word "peaceful".
More often than not, we like our days to be productive, interesting, adventurous, fun, relaxed, successful, exciting... but peaceful?!
Somehow, the idea of "peaceful" is not that sexy or inviting for most of us. As if it would be a subtle way to talk about something boring, predictable, mindless.
Let's bring it back to our lives]
And yet, the opposite is actually true: Having a peaceful day or even just a peaceful hour in our day on a regular basis is a transformative habit built upon mindfulness, self-care, and the ability to choose deep focus instead of short-term shiny objects.
Finding our way to be peaceful is a true game-changer and it can help us rewire, recharge, and, quite often, be more creative and curious afterwards.
Our brain, our body, our ideas get a boost from a break. And we also do, as a whole.
"Peaceful" is underappreciated, and it's time to change that.
