Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #312. - Your can get (more) satisfaction

The Rolling Stones (and many other artists after them) have been singing the famous hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" since 1965.
Besides the literal meaning of the lyrics and their impact on society over the years, we have become used to analyze all the time whether or not something in our lives has been satisfying and to feel entitled to complain about it if the answer should be a negative one.

[The best way to answer this question?
Close your eyes, and think small]

Sadly, most people tend to display a fixed mindset about what could be satisfying, as if it would be something solely related to external circumstances and specific features and not also something deeply related to our attitude, our expectations, and our personal taste.
Something we can work on, if we want to.

We judge things, people, and situations based on an invisible checklist we go through in order to see whether or not something ticks all the boxes and, more often than not, we don't ask ourselves what is truly necessary for us and which role our attitude towards things could be playing.

Satisfaction, it turns out, lies in the eye of the beholder and we can all learn to recognize and celebrate all the little moments, the small things, and the tiny special occasions we get every single day for experiencing satisfaction and gratitude.
Today's question is a good start, and it can become something we can ask ourselves on a regular basis before going to bed.

Coaching question of the day:
"What has been satisfying today?"
