If you are ready you don't have to get ready, they say. And each of us may or may not agree with them.
Still, they have a point, to some extent.
No matter what some critics think, the saying is not about stressing oneself out, embracing self-destructive perfectionism, or being constantly under pressure.
Being ready so that we can "be ready" when necessary is about being the kind of person able to deal with whatever comes our way: problems, important invitations, issues, challenges, rare chances, setbacks, a crisis, a new beginning, and so on.

It's a way of life, a state of mind, a daily choice to be intentional about what shapes our goals, our time management, our attitude.
Consciously or not, we are preparing ourselves for what is coming next, for our future, for who we are and who we can be.
Therefore, today's question is about thinking of what is motivating us and keeping us busy honing our skills, learning something new, staying curious, becoming every day a little bit better at what we do, exploring other ways, deepening our know-how...
