Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #127. - Decluttering your past

Just like once a year or so you would/should have a look at your closet and all the items contained in it in order to see which ones are still in good conditions, appropriate for your fitting size, and spark joy (Marie Kondo's style), you could do the same with your souvenirs, your possessions, your belief system.

If you never did this before, it could be worth a try.
Otherwise, the risk is for you to hang on things, ideas, and views that are outdated and misleading, just like you would do while attending an important event with something you wore the last time in 2003 and that doesn't fit you anymore.
Vintage is not always the answer.

[You can be thankful for your past,
and yet you don't have to carry all of it with you all the time]

What was interesting or useful five or ten years ago could be not relevant any longer for the person you are now.

What you were used to believing as a teenager or what people told you in the past again and again could be not that inspiring now that you are a successful professional and you are in charge of your life.

Decluttering our past on a regular basis can create space for what matters to us now and for the future we want to build day after day.

Coaching question of the day:
"What in your life does belong only to the past?"
