Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #126. - Getting to know your blind spots

We all have some kind of blind spots, some kind of bias, some kind of preconceptions.
Nobody is perfect, not even you.

Knowing that we have those pesky blind spots about others, about ourselves, about life as a whole is unfortunately not half the battle, but it is a start.
Knowing that our take on things is not as objective and flawless as we would like it to be is a pivotal step forward that can help us over time.

[We all have some kind of blind spots.
The ones that say they don't have any?
They have more blind spots than anyone else]

How?

Realizing that how we perceive everything around us is indeed more often than not a matter of perspective can help us enhance our self-awareness and discover more about how we see the world and how others can see the world in a different way.

A good tool for that? Asking ourselves and others more questions and running a reality check on a regular basis.
One thing is what we believe to know already, another thing is what we can learn, discover, understand. The space for our growth lies in the gap between these two points of view.

Coaching question of the day:
"How can you check your blind spots?"
