If I say "invitation", what comes to your mind?
For many people, it could be something related to our professional life, like an invitation to a meeting, a Zoom call, a business conference, or training of some kind.
What would that be, in our private life instead?
Probably an invitation to a wedding, a date, a party or small gathering, or some other kind of social event.
and often also of appreciation and respect]
And you would be right. Business as usual, right?
But what if we would consider as an invitation also interactions that don't require meeting up in person, or virtually?
An invitation could also be a request to share other kinds of experience, like asking a question about a topic in order to get a different opinion, or working together on a project remotely, or a tag of appreciation on social media.
An invitation can be any kind of emotional bid to be to some extent close to someone.
And this can change how we approach our day, and our interactions.
