Every kind of thought we have related to our self-efficacy, our self-worth, and our ability to grow, to learn, to change, and to make a difference is, to some extent, a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Self-fulfilling prophecies tend to have a bad reputation, and yet it's up to us to decide how we want to see them, and whether or not we want to believe in them and to consider ourselves "tied" or "empowered" by them.
