Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #236. - Destiny, self-efficacy, and hard work

Today's coaching question is one of those that look apparently mundane or useless on the surface and yet can tell a lot about us, how we live, why we do what we do... and the other way around as well.

Depending on our story, cultural background, social upbringing, personal belief system, and so many other factors that bring diversity to the world, we may or may not believe in destiny.

Assuming we would do, we could decide that everything happens only when it's written and that there is no reason for us to do something about it.
This could be related to a career, a love relationship, an illness, and lots of other things as well.

[Destiny? The answer may be
"Absolutely!" or "Nah, no way!"
and everything in between]

At the same time, destiny as a concept is not that "black or white" as many would expect.

We could believe in destiny in some areas of our life, and not at all in others. We could believe in destiny and still think that, in order to accomplish what destiny has in store for us, we have to work hard, be nice, and do the right thing on a regular basis.

However, we could also think that destiny doesn't exist at all.
And it would be absolutely fine, if this makes us happy.

This way or another, it's good to know what we believe in, and what this means for us.

Coaching question of the day:
"Do you believe in destiny?"
