If you really want to get to know someone, one of the best ways is to ask them what they are interested in, what they love, what they are passionate about. And then to listen to them while they are talking about it.
And yet we don't ask ourselves the very same question often enough.
This way, we risk ending up living our lives out of old habits or customs that may not be any longer the ones that matter to us.
Or, even worse, that never mattered to us in the first place and we embraced at some point just because we thought this is what adulthood is all about.
and who you are becoming...
Choose wisely and stay true to yourself]
Somehow many people believe that being an adult is just about doing what one is supposed to do or expected to do.
Dedicating time to what we are interested in, in some shape or form? Nice to have, but not necessary.
And yet, it is necessary.
Our interests are about us and tell a story about us: Who we are today, who we have been before, who we are becoming every single day.
Asking ourselves today's question on a regular basis is an excellent tool for understanding what we want, what we need, where we are headed, and whether or not many things in our lives are still relevant or not.
