One coaching question a day - #12. What is unforgettable to you?

"How could it be possible to forget you?!?", they ask.
As if they would be asking how could someone manage to forget that we need air to breathe and to survive.

And yet, being unforgettable feels kind of ambivalent, to me.
Something can be either unforgettably good or unforgettably bad, so to speak. And even if I know that, in my case, they mean it in a good way, the word "unforgettable" keeps making me wonder.

Is being unforgettable always something to be proud of or to consider in a positive way?
Or is it more a matter of perception, so it is not about being unforgettable for real, but about being seen as unforgettable by someone instead?

[Are you cherishing the unforgettable things in your life,
or do you feel like a prisoner because of them?]

What is unforgettable to you, and how do you see that?
After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they say.
Do you consider unforgettable memories something to be thankful for and that make your life experience more interesting or something you would like to get rid of, like the characters of Michel Gondry's wonderful Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)?

Are you merely surrendering to something or someone unforgettable, while believing that you have no other choice available, or are you looking for it in your life? What for? How?

This one is for Jonas.
