Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #200. - Looking for surprises

One of the secrets for staying young at heart is keeping the ability to be surprised, they say.
To keep an open mind, stay curious, and let things surprise us.

People and circumstances that can't be figured out immediately are often indeed not only surprising but also fascinating.

We want to be surprised, even if a surprise is per se unpredictable, capricious, and therefore a little bit risky as well.

[The people able to (positively) surprise you
are the ones keeping you young at heart]

And yet, no matter the risk, more often than not we want to be surprised and to be around people able to show us something new and add something unexpected to the mix. This way, we can grow.

Being surprised is something we should be more thankful for.

Coaching question of the day:
"Who did surprise you this week?"
