Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #266. - Staying in touch... with yourself

We often talk about being out of touch, losing touch, finding it difficult to keep in touch with others and for many, the pandemic made it even more difficult.
And yet, it's rare to talk about being out of touch with ourselves and how to change that.

Seeing others and taking care of our relationships, both at work and with friends and loved ones, is important, of course.
And yet we spend every single minute of every single day with ourselves.

[For some, this question may look quite strange
or even unpleasant. It's still worth an answer, even more so]

Staying in touch with what matters to us, what we feel, what we want, what makes us "us" is the indispensable foundation for every other (healthy) relationship in our life as well.

Today's question is an invitation to reflect on this, and to find new ways to maintain that vital bond strong, mindful, and nurturing.

Coaching question of the day:
"How do you stay in touch with yourself?"
