During difficult times, it can be also difficult to acknowledge the good things, to be thankful for them, and to remember that even in the darkest moments there could be something magical happening around us.
Even worse, many people feel guilty because of that magic, as if they would be rude, cruel, or insensitive for enjoying something nice where everything seems to be falling apart.

Sure, splurging, partying hard, and being astonishingly selfish is indeed not the way to go, but you would hardly find magic in those activities anyway.
Magic is about little pleasures, pockets of joy, tiny miracles that happen around us and that keep us going.
Looking for magic is not selfish, it is actually very generous: Once you find it, you can share it with other people that, exactly like you, desperately need it during difficult times.
Just like fear and anger are contagious, so are hope and thankfulness.
Let's spread some magic, one day at a time: During dark times, it's just as needed as ever.
