Coaching, reloaded - Coaching question of the day #339. - Being appreciated VS. feeling appreciated

Today's question could be easily misunderstood.
It may look like a question about others and whether or not they appreciate us, but it is actually a question about us.

Yes, you read it right: It is actually a question about us and whether or not we are able to recognize and cherish someone else's appreciation.
Whether or not we are able to see it, experience it, and embrace it.

[Remember: This question is about you,
not about the people around you]

Being appreciated and feeling appreciated is not always the same.

We could get all the appreciation in the world without being able to feel it, or we can decide to learn how to take notice of all the little moments, the little gestures, the smiles, the tiny signs that we are seen, understood, and valued, and how to feel worthy of it.

In the end, the latter is what matters most.

Coaching question of the day:
"When did you feel appreciated today?"
