"Sharing is caring", the (already) old saying goes.
This may sound gorgeous but is not always true.
We share plenty of content in every shape or form, on every possible online platform and channel, and of course offline as well.
But we don't always do it because we care.
to a catchy song... everything is shareable these days
but not automatically shareworthy]
We may be bored, angry, looking for some kind of validation, eager to get "popular" while sharing away the latest hype or something controversial, or just amused.
We may be interested in being generous and make someone else's day, or even just in boosting our ego and our social status to some extent.
What if we would pay more attention to the content we share and the kind of environment we are contributing to creating with what we show to others and spread around us?
What if we would ask ourselves if what we are sharing is positive, kind, constructive, meaningful, and will help someone else not only to have a short-lived laugh but also to grow and to be happy long-term?
Sharing is not always caring, but we can hold the old saying true more often, and with purpose, if we want.
Today's question is a good place to start.
Coaching question of the day:
