It's the kind of attitude that we can call it in many ways: Being fierce, battlesome, pugnacious, even gladiatorial.
We can call it in many ways, and even if it gets a bad reputation quite often, more often than not it's a very healthy and empowering approach.
Sometimes, we can also just call it "having true grit" and be proud of it, and proud of us.
