Probably we have always wanted everything, and right on the spot.
Still, in the past, we somehow knew that satisfying our expectations was neither possible nor realistic.
After 25 years of internet use and abuse, sometimes it looks like we would like to forget this piece of information, or if we would have already forgotten it.
And yet, as sexy as "Everything, right now, and please without change on effort on my side!" can sound...
Getting everything immediately and without some kind of (mental, professional, emotional, physical) labor is, in most cases, just an illusion or a disappointing race for a quick fix that will never give us what we are looking for, it doesn't matter if we are talking business or about our private life.
Instead of being delusional, we can decide to be... patient, a very old-fashioned and yet still highly effective and rewarding attribute.
What if we are not that good at it yet? No problem, with a little bit of patience, we can improve at it. The secret is picking only one situation to work with, in the beginning, and keep training those new patience muscles.
Coaching question of the day:
"In which situations could you use a little bit of patience?"

[Patience is a transferrable skill...
Something we can learn over time
and apply in many different situations]
